The richness found in the Paola Lenti fabrics and ropes inspired a chaise longue that highlights the material qualities through a fur-like throw, which partially covers the webbing of the chaise longue. We thought it interesting to translate the expression of a tufted carpet into a chair, both for the comfort it provides and for the added material richness. In a sense, we designed a structure around a carpet, and it became a chaise longue.
